The Women & Infants Hospital Foundation supports the exceptional services delivered each day at the hospital. Thanks to the generosity of friends and grateful families, Women & Infants provides technologically advanced care with thoughtful compassion. As the major teaching affiliate of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, the hospital also advances innovative research and trains the next generation of physicians and biomedical scientists.
Established in 2013 to honor former Women & Infants President Connie Howes for her many years of service, the Fund is driven by gifts from hundreds of individual and foundation donors.
To date, four investigators have been selected to receive funding for innovative projects studying preeclampsia, a sometimes-deadly disease of pregnancy; health risks of advanced maternal age; and causes of preterm birth. To give to this fund, please select the Howes Research Fund on the donation page.
